Re-installation in the bookshop of a work by French artist Jean-Luc Vilmouth

After more than 15 years, we decided to re-hang the clock and hammer by French artist Jean-Luc Vilmouth. It forms an important focal point in Copyright and, for Hilde and Johan in particular, serves as a reminder of Jan Hoet’s 1986 exhibition “Chambres d’amis.” Their then-apartment on the Coupure in Ghent was also part of the circuit, and Jean-Luc Vilmouth created an installation there in three interconnecting rooms.
