The fifth and final volume of the catalogue raisonné of Soulages’ painted work brings together one hundred and ninety-five pieces created between May 31, 2013, and May 22, 2022. These works bear witness to the vitality and creativity that fueled the artist until the end of his life—a life of exceptional longevity. This volume, which also includes an illustrated biography, was produced under the supervision of Colette Soulages, the artist’s widow, who wrote the preface, and under the direction of Camille Morando and Alfred Pacquement, who continue the work of Pierre Encrevé, author of the first four volumes, who passed away in 2019.
