ROA is the pseudonym of an anonymous, contemporary street art artist from Ghent. He is believed to have been born in 1976. His works have been installed on buildings in various cities in Europe, the United States, South America, Africa, Asia and Australia. He regularly participates in street art festivals and works from time to time with galleries worldwide. Furthermore, very little is known about this anonymous artist. He believes that his work speaks for itself. He always avoids any contact with the media and hardly allows himself to be interviewed. In this way, he says, he keeps his work and mind free.

Fascinated by nature, the anonymous ROA likes to be inspired by its beauty. Although he does not shy away from the downside of the brutal animal world, which immediately provides food for discussion among art lovers.

Simplified foxes, copulating rats, tranquil crows with closed eyes, of which you do not know if they are sleeping peacefully or have long since died … With a great sense of detail, he brings his black-and-white signature drawings of native threatened with extinction all over the world species on buildings.
