Camp Drancy was an internment and transit camp in the French town of Drancy, north of Paris, during World War II. Approximately 70,000 Jews were deported from Camp Drancy.
Artist R. B. Kitaj and author Anne Atik travelled to Drancy and were inspired by this horrible place.
