Roger Szmulewicz

Roger stresses that for him books are not only professional tools, but also cherished objects of great value. Like works of art, they should be treated with respect. In fact, he loves books so much, he found it hard to make a quick choice.

However that Sunday afternoon he eventually picked out the following books: one about the photographer Helen Levitt, ‘The Americans’ by Robert Frank, ‘Vaudou/Voodoo/Vudu’ by Jean-Dominique Burton, ‘Chemise’ by Sidibe and a book about the artist Kara Walker.
