Polish artist Zbigniew Libera (b. 1959) considers himself the “Father of Critical Art”. Libera is best known for his controversial 1996 artwork named LEGO Concentration Camp, depicting a Nazi concentration camp made out of Lego bricks. The artwork attracted much controversy, including The Lego Group threatening legal action.
Libera is also famous for his photography and videography.
