Exhibition catalogue/artist’s book.
Belgian artist Patrick Corillon (b. 1959) lives and works in Paris and Liège. He is a story-teller who creates alternative realities through the construction of narratives, using whatever diverse mediums best serve his purpose. Through film, writing, performance, sculpture his storytelling takes on a dreamlike and poetic quality. Since 1988, the artist has been bringing out of anonymity fictional characters from another era, with foreign-sounding names as Oskar Serti, Hungarian writer, born in 1881 and died in 1959.
