This limited edition is an experimental project first published in 2012. Due to several trips to Chicago and the relationship stablished with Mies van der Rohe’s work, a research began about the importance of hiding in Mies construction process. This lead to a reflection about Ornament in modern architecture where it was supposed to be vanished. It contains 1 folded transparent brochure with Mies van der Rohe’s corners details, 1 color paper sheet with “Seagram Building” façade detail, 1 folded sheet with the text ‘Ornament and Crime’ from Adolf Loos,
1 folded poster with Mies van der Rohe’s text “Architecture and technology”, essays on his work and photos from architectural details, and 1 drawing of the Barcelona Pavilion pillar.
We have a copy of the second edition published in 10 copies. (ours is copy 5/10). The first edition of 2012 was printed in 50 copies, the third edition of 2021 also in 50 copies.)
Our copy is in perfect condition and in the original plastic wrappers.
