With the furnishings made for aparto Milan Giovenale, the first university residence of the Hines Group in Italy, Cesare Roversi participates in the creation of a new model of student housing: a place to live, meet, study and feel at home, in the heart of Milan. Through an immersive photographic narrative and with the texts by Francesca Picchi, architect and design historian, the book Making Space investigates the project aparto Milan Giovenale within the urban context of Milan and allows the reader to explore the spaces of the residence designed by the London-based architecture studio Carmody Groarke, for which Cesare Roversi arredamenti created all the furnishings.

The work of a historic Italian “design factory” – founded in 1946 in Moglia, in the province of Mantua, and always devoted to a state-of-the-art execution of furnishing projects – thus develops in a city with an increasingly pronounced university vocation.
