Le Corbusier: Travels, Objects and Collections

Cristian Chironi (Ed.)

Pinacotheca Agnelli & Corraini Edizioni, 2021

Le Corbusier did not collect works of art, but rather all kinds of everyday objects: shells, pieces of wood, glass or bone, stones, enamelled ceramics, bricks and common objects. Objects found or collected while travelling, collected and stored in small displays, making up the Swiss architect’s private collection: the only guidelines were personal taste and the appeal of the shapes and materials.
