As the architect behind some of the most iconic houses in Spanish architecture – such as the Turégano, the Gaspar, and the Casa del Infinito – Alberto Campo Baeza has also designed such significant works as Caja Granada Headquarters, the Museum of Memory, the Zamora Advisory Council, and, more recently, the Olnick Pavilion in New York. This mongraph presents some 30 buildings realised by the architect from his small Madrid studio, a practice he has combined with teaching for five decades. With an introduction by Luis Fernández-Galiano and an accompanying article by Alejandro Cervilla on the poetic sensibility underlying the design of his homes, the book includes a section featuring sixteen projects, among them his latest international commissions, such as a colossal cultural space in Mexico, a Smart Center in Armenia, and a tower in New York.
