Andrea Branzi (1938-2023) was an Italian designer, architect, theorist, teacher, publisher and exhibition maker who worked from Milan. In his early years he played a leading role in the development of the radical Italian architecture scene that profoundly reshaped the history of design and architecture from the 1960s onwards. He was one of the founders of the Archizoom group, which from 1964 to 1974 set up numerous experimental activities in the form of manifestos, installations and happenings. From the 1970s onwards he focused on the more theoretical issues of the new Italian design. As a teacher and co-founder of the Domus Academy he exerted a special influence on several generations of designers in the 1980s and 1990s.
He also designed several objects, furniture and jewellery. This publication provides an overview, including the series of jewellery he designed for Casa Argentaurum.
