«On a trop souvent réduit Borges à un catalogue restrictif d’idées reçues confinant à l’abstraction des emblèmes, à une série de métaphores associant de manière obsessionnelle tigres, miroirs, couteaux, épées, bibliothèques et labyrinthes. On l’a volontiers désincarné. On a exclu une intimité qui ne pouvait aucunement participer de son archétypale image médiatisée.
