“À toi appartient le regard et (…) la liaison infinie entre les choses”
Musée du Quai Branly Jacques Chirac & Actes Sud, 2020
Can we see the world through the eyes of others? How far can the visual experiences offered by artists take us? This book offers a dive into several sensitive universes, a connection between the practices of twenty-six artists from eighteen different countries. Using photography, moving image, video, installation, the works presented lead us to consider questions of memory in relation to the absence or overabundance of images. They evoke our relationship to the natural world, the visual and historical construction of territories, photographs and films as supports for the projection of oneself in models.
