The quarterly periodical, which owes its title to Rimbaud’s famous sonnet, and directed by Bruno Corà, dedicates each issue to a range of different artists who participate in the publication with textual insights, reproductions of their own works and ad hoc artistic interventions. The protagonists of the magazine are often the artists of Arte Povera as is evident from the first issue which features among others: Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Giulio Paolini and Luciano Fabro. The magazine was published starting in September 1980 until 1987.
