Very rare artist book/exhibition catalogue.
“Between 7 – ‘Yes sir, that’s my baby’ – took place in the Städtische Kunsthalle Düsseldorf from May 2 to 6, 1973. The Gallery House London showed the exhibition ‘Some 260 miles from here, art from the Rhein-Ruhr Germany 1973 ‘in the premises of the Goethe-Institut London from mid-May to the end of July 1973. The cultural department of the Federal Foreign Office, the Ministry of Culture of North Rhine-Westphalia and the city of Düsseldorf granted grants for both events. More than 90 artists in and outside Düsseldorf had signed up. Four coordinators, Sigi Krauss and Rosetta Brooks; London, Sigmar Polke and Erika Fischer, Düsseldorf, were responsible for the artistic conception and organization of the exhibitions.
Instead of a catalog, the picture book documents the communicative character as well as events in and between both events with photos of the participating artists.
