Ronny Heirman(1936-2013) has photographed numerous artists and figures from the national and international art scene for decades and has in this way captured an entire artistic generation on film. He was also often present at openings and other public events, thus portraying a broad network. Heirman portrayed many visual artists such as Joseph Beuys, Luc Tuymans, Panamarenko, Raoul De Keyser, … He maintained a friendship with many of them for many years.
