Since 2013, the Belgian artist Koen Broucke (°1965) has regularly published a painting or drawing on social media. With these images he writes thoughts about his work, his activities, worries and joys. There are reflections on the zeitgeist, travel notes, literary commentaries, memories and observations. Especially after major events such as the attacks in Brussels or the outbreak of the pandemic, the urgency to think about the world increases.
