Régis Durand, Kader Attia, Hélène des Rieux (eds.)
Publisher Huarte, Navarra, 2009
With an oeuvre that is dominated by installation pieces, often created in-situ according to specific spatial characteristics and exhibition conditions, Kader Attia has developed a wide-spread and engaging practice. His recent exhibition at the Huarte Contemporary Art Centre, allowed the artist to create several new site specific pieces, including the works ‘Black & White’ and ‘Kasbah.’ Both are reproduced here, accompanied by images of works produced over recent years, along with others produced between 2000 and 2007. All works are clearly reproduced, the majority in colour, and accompanied by several short essays, an interview and biographic notes.
