Annemie Depuydt studied architecture in Belgium, worked mostly abroad (for example, with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, OMA) and has spent the last few years running uapS (urbanisme architecture projetS) in Paris together with Erik Van Daele. She also teaches at the Ecole Nationale d'Architecture de Paris - La Vilette.
She is currently working on a number of urban development projects in Belgium, for example in Deinze and Roeselare and on the Spartacus public transport network for the Belgian province of Limburg. Other architectural projects are well under way in France.
Annemie chose mainly art books, first and foremost the book 'Lighter' about Wolfgang Tillmans, having recently seen a magnificent exhibition of his work in Paris. 'Atlas' by Gerhard Richter and the book about David Claerbout were also on her list. She also wanted the
Monograph on SANAA and all the 'Verb' publications.
