Thomas has long been the man behind Copyright's house style, but his field is really designing books and catalogues. He has made publications for SMAK and De Zwarte Panter gallery and designed books for artists like Ronny Delrue, Hans Van De Kerckhove, Karel Dierickx and Jan Van Riet.
His personal choice of books is always determined by the inventive use of printing techniques and the tactility of materials. The publication about film-maker Nicolas Provost with which he was photographed, is an exception to the rule: in this case it is the work of Provoost that interests him (especially the film 'Plot Point') rather than the book itself.
He also chose the monograph on Belgian architects 'Coussée & Goris', the anthology 'Project Vitra', a book about Japanese video artist Mariko Mori and, last but not least, the small but very attractive book about the 'Helvetica' typeface, a bible for graphic designers.
