Good 50x 70: The Social Communication Project

210 Posters that Actually Say Something

There’s no one better at telling people a message and getting them
to act on it than the communications industry. But sadly most of the time the industry spends its time promoting beer and trainers rather than issues that really matter. Work for charities is nice, but doesn’t pay the bills.
The creators of the Good 50×70 project found this incredibly frustrating. They decided to create their own project to reward creativity in social communication and provide charities with a database of posters they could use for free for their campaigns.
Good 50×70 is a contest with a world wide footprint that calls for posters that confront seven of the critical issues affecting today’s world. This book collects the best responses to seven briefs from seven charities addressing seven critical global issues. They were selected by an international jury of leading graphic designers from over 3.000 submissions from 163 countries.
Good 50×70 is the world largest independent social communication project which started when a group of young creatives met in a café in Milan. In three years they built up a database of over 5000 posters available to charities around the wold for free.
