Haike Apelt
Architect, °1973 Antwerp Haike is German but has lived in Antwerp for a long time. She was born in Dessau, home to the Bauhaus, which seems to have predestined her for architecture. Haike lectures on Architectural Design at the Henry Van De Velde Institute in Antwerp and is mainly interested in books about the theory of architecture and philosophy. She chose a classic book about Louis Sullivan, but it might equally have been one about Vitruvius. Haike also likes photography and purchased a copy of Peter Lindbergh's book. May 2008 |
