Painter Arne Quinze is an avid collector of both antiquarian and new books. For him looking at an art book is to travel through the history of art, to discover and rediscover things, even if he has already seen innumerable countries and visited their museums. Among other things, he collects everything ever published about Picasso and his library contains a large section of books on African art. Three books have been published about his own work and in 2010 the publisher Hatje Cantz produced a monograph. During his visit to Copyright Arne bought the Catalogue Raissonné of the Paintings of Cy Twombly, a new book about Picasso, monographs on Paul Gauguin and Jan Fabre and two books about one of his friends, Belgian artist Wim Delvoye.
