Hans is a graphic designer by training, but in 1995 he set up 'Buzz' to provide companies with internet solutions.
He is drawn to books about typography and graphic design in particular and is a fan of Steven Heller and Rick Poynor.
As well as 'Typographica' by Rick Poynor, the book 'Uncredited' and the DVD 'Helvetica', Hans also chose 'Toy Giants'. His parents owned a large toy shop in Antwerp and so he grew up surrounded by toys. He is much taken by the lavishly designed picture book 'Toy Giants' because it shows dolls and other fantasy figures in a whole new context.
