A well-known lady in Belgium's design world, Moniek Bucqoye is also consultant of the 'Interieur Kortrijk' design fair and advisor to the Design Museum in Ghent. As an author she has written 24 books about architecture and design, including 'Forms With A Smile' and the monograph 'Vittorio Simoni'. We like her because of the strong views she holds. Moniek is a person who either loves or loathes something or someone! She is extremely well up on all the new developments in design and has a large library on this subject. Moniek chose the book 'Jaime Hayon. Works' about the Spanish designer who is guest of honour at 'Interieur 2008', and also Hans Theys' overview of contemporary art, 'Flower Power', John Maeda's 'The Laws of Simplicity', the impressive publication 'Project Vitra: Sites, Products, Authors, Museum, Collections, Signs; Chronology, Glossary' and the beautiful 'Le Corbusier. Polychromie architecturale'.
