Atame for Copyright. A limited edition bag.
A limited edition bag by Belgian designer Eva Pannecoucke. SOLD OUT!!!
A limited edition bag by Belgian designer Eva Pannecoucke
Eva Pannecoucke has designed a limited edition across body bag. Having studied textile design at the Royal Academy in Ghent, in 2004 she began working as an independent designer. Her 'Atame' bags combine recycled leather with unusual, even surprising materials; recently these were colourful scoubidou fabrics and coated gobelin motifs. The form of the bag closely follows the shape of the man's or woman's body, almost making it an item of clothing rather than just an accessory.
Every bag for Copyrighthings was unique and handmade from a specific part of a vintage leather jacket. The back, the inside and the strap were made of fine, luxury suiting by Scabal. In terms of fabric, there were three basic variations, but each leather panel was different. The bag played on the contrast between raw leather and refined textile, and could be worn either to the office or casually. The nine bags were immediately sold out.
Katrien Vermeire took the photograph for the campaign; the model was Hector.
