TENTOONSTELLINGEN OP DE EERSTE VERDIEPING van Copyright Gent

The opening of the bookshop on 4 October 1986 was marked by artist friend Johan van Geluwe’s Mail Art exhibition 'Architecture is ...'), for which he asked a hundred architects and artists to make a statement or drawing on a postcard about what architecture meant to them.

Later on we mounted other exhibitions – about typography ('Alphabet City', 1987), about the largest trendy coffee-table magazine ever ('The Manipulator', 1988; sized 50 × 70 cm!) , about El Lissitsky.

We also did architecture and design shows: a survey of the work of Eileen Gray and an exhibition about three female Belgian architects, 'L’architettura è anche donna' featuring M. José Van Hee, Monique Stoop and An Wirtz.

The last exhibition Copyright organized in Ghent was a Belgian architects’ homage to Italy: 'Il sentimento Italiano'.
